All of our Fainting goats are 100% pure bred & are registered with the Myotonic Goat Registry.
All Fainting goats born here will be registered under our herd name "Boot's Fainting Farm" & should not be changed.
Inquiries:
When contacting us, please let us know exactly what you are looking for... Buck, Doe or Both? Name of the goat you are interested in? & Do you want the goat for breeding, show, or just as a pet? We do not sell for meat.
Kids & Bottle Babies:
In order to give our goats the best start in life, we do not sell our goats under 3 months of age.
All of our does are good mothers so we do not like to sell bottle babies unless something occurred naturally which requires us to bottle feed.
Horns, Ear Tags, ect.:
We do not disbud (de-horn) our goats. We do get polled (goats born without horns) kids from time to time.
We do not tag, tattoo, or microchip any our fainting kids' ears. Your goats only need these things if you are planning on showing them or traveling out of state with them. They are for identification purposes. Your goat does not need an ear tag or tattoo in order to register it. We register all of our fainting goats with the MGR & they do not require any of these things to register them.
If you plan on showing your goat, you can bring the goat to your local veterinarian & they can add the tag for you. You can also tag their ear yourself. You will need to buy ear tags & a tag applicator (which can be purchased at any livestock supply store). Click here for step by step instructions on how to tag your goats ear.
Health certificates are not included in the price of a goat, but is available at the buyers expense.
Waiting List:
Starting March 1, 2014 we will no longer be keeping a waiting list for our goats. All goats will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.
We always update our website as soon as we have goats for sale and as soon as kids are born. We usually have kids for sale 1-2 times per year & once in a while we have breeding age animals for sale. When you see something you like please contact us. If you mail us a deposit, we can hold the kid(s) for you until they are ready to go to their new home. Scroll down to read more about deposits...

You will need to be a member of the MGR to be able to register or transfer ownership of the goat(s) under your name.

Held goats are still property of Boot's Fainting Farm until they have been picked up & paid in full.
Balance:
The balance due at the time of pick-up must be in the form of cash.
Pick-Up:
We do not deliver or ship our goats. Buyer is responsible for pick-up at our location.
Buyers should be prepared to transport goats in an adequately sized, well ventilated, & (if the weather is bad) a partially covered cage or vehicle. The goat(s) need to be able to stand, turn around, & lay down comfortably. A goat tied in the bed of a truck is not safe & this will not be allowed. A cage in the bed of a truck needs to have protection from direct sun, rain, & too much wind.
If you do not have a livestock trailer and/or you are only buying 1-2 goats then a large cage or dog taxi will work just fine as this is what most of our customers use.
At the time of pick up, the buyer will be given the goat's MGR registration paperwork.
All goats will receive their CD&T vaccine & will be wormed before leaving our farm.
All goats will be healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of pick-up. It is the buyer's responsibility to check the goat over before leaving our farm with it.
We are not responsible for the goat once it leaves our farm. When the goat(s) leave our farm, there is no warranty. All sales are final.
First Right or Refusal:
We reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone, for any reason.
We reserve the right to terminate a sale at any time for any reason during the sales process. If we must do so, we will refund any deposit. However, if you change your mind about a goat, we will not offer a refund.
We reserve the right to retain any offspring prior to selections by our customers.
